Why I Love Getting Inverted – 4 Yoga Poses To Flip Your Perspective

“Sometimes you just have to look at things from a different perspective”

Us humans can take our selves a little bit to seriously in life, are you really going to look back on your life and think oh man it was so worth stressing balls over meeting that deadline in July 2015 haha i really hope not.

Our beautiful bodies are made up of energy, yoga helps you to shift away negative energy that no longer serves you and replaces it with feeling more grounded, at peace and at one with yourself. When we glue ourself to our desk, sit in front of a screen all day our bodies become static and our minds follow. We can feel lethargic, unmotivated and just BLAH. My sneaky trick is STOP DROP and to an INVERSION!!

Why I LOVE Inversions: 

  • Gets me out of a creative rut
  • Elevates my mood
  • Sends the blood circulation through the entire body as it reverse the blood flow
  • Give me the giggles as I playfully fall out of the poses
  • They look cool (as if hands stand don’t look bad ass cool)
  • Increases immunity
  • Energises me (Its my coffee shot in the morning, lunch and afternoon)
  • Improves balance and strength
  • Can be relaxing (Especially a juicy head stand or rag doll)
  • Literally gives me a new perspective on life
  • Brings out my inner child and playful nature
  • They are just so much FUN !!

4 Inversion Yoga Poses + The Benefits: 

One Legged Downward Facing Dog:  Eka Pāda Adho Mukha Śvānāsana

Benefits:
